VicStrip and the VicBooth Products Achieve Indoor Air Quality Certification

VicStrip and the VicBooth Products Achieve Indoor Air Quality Certification

The innovative acoustic slat panel VicStrip and the VicBooth Ultra, Office, Gaming and Spa product range achieved Indoor Advantage™ Gold Certification, meaning they are low-emitting solutions for sustainable projects and green building projects.

Vicoustic announces it has achieved Indoor Advantage™ Gold certification for its latest Acoustic Panels and Acoustic Booths products manufactured in Portugal. Certification was issued by third-party certification body SCS Global Services after completing an independent assessment including in-depth testing review of the product’s emissions, determining conformance to the Indoor Air Quality Performance Standard.

Slat panels certified

The innovative acoustic panel VicStrip, a slatted panel made from PET Laminated with a wood look but free of real wood, was certified for Indoor Advantage™ Gold Building Materials. This means it conforms to the standard recommended for the school classroom and private office scenarios. The panels were measured in the concentration of Total Volatile Organic Compounds, registering less than 0.5mg/m3. VicStrip joins the VMT family, including the Cinema VMT and the GEN_VMT collection, all of which received this certification.

Acoustic booths certified for workspace

The wide range of acoustic booths VicBooth Office was certified for Indoor Advantage™ Gold Furniture. This means they meet the Furniture Emissions Standard recommended for the open plan and private office workstation parameters. These booths also conform to the open plan parameters.

With these certifications, the most recent Vicoustic products now contribute to credits in RESET, BREAM, LEED, WELL,  and other green building rating systems. Products that have Indoor Advantage Gold certification help buildings achieve and maintain better indoor air quality and are top considerations of architects and designers. In the age of green and eco-friendly solutions, Vicoustic continues to innovate, by following its motto: Perfecting Acoustics Sustainably.
